It's Barbecue Time!

Gather up your friends, family and bibs - it's time for the annual PMVFD Barbecue and Craft Fair. This long-standing tradition is not only the source of some the best barbecued beef to come down the pike, it's a daylong event with plenty to do for the whole family. The 2000 PMVFD Barbecue and Craft Fair is set for Saturday, Sept. 2. That's the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It all begins at 11 a.m. and serving continues until 4 p.m. You won't want to miss this year's craft fair. Vendors and crafters from all over the county will be here to offer their wares. Expect to see everything from jewelry to ceramics. Of course, we all know what a tempting treat that slow cooked barbecued beef is. There will be all the fixin's too - rolls, salad and beans. Meals are $7 for adults and $3.50 for kids under 12. Homemade pies, ice cream, lemonade, sodas, nachos and a host of other temptations will be available throughout the day. Music, music, music all day long, too. Don't miss it!
