Wog and Joanie Bergman win trip to Hawaii

It was really exciting to read off the winning ticket name for the Hawaii trip: Wog and Joanie Bergman!!! Wog's grandfather first came up to the mountain in the mid 1800's; his grandson, Wes, is the 6th generation to graduate from the Mountain school. So their ties to the Mountain go way back! Wog donates the beef each year for the Barbecue. So, thanks Wog, and a big "Aloha" to Wog and Joanie! -- Bonnie Phelps
The final BBQ results are income of $14430 and a net after expenses of $10825. Thanks to all who donated their time, talent, and money. Once again we are able to multiply our tax-based income from the county ($22,000) by nearly 50%. -- Bill Peffer, PMVFD Board President. send email to wpeffer@cts.com. See More PMVFD News.

The afternoon before the BBQ many people came to help set up booths, tables, chairs, and to begin cooking. The evening before the BBQ was the annual Firefighter Appreciation Dinner, hosted by Earl Walls.
